Enhance your underwater skills and abilities as a freediver, underwater photographer, mermaid, underwater model or actor, snorkeller or surfer with Australian professional PADI Freediver Instructor Trainer Marlon Quinn on this 1.5-hour training session for up to three students.

This personalised coaching and training session will develop your comfort underwater, to release mental blocks, reduce dive stress, and enhance your joy and relaxation exploring the sea. Using a combination of freediving and breathwork methods with the assistance of freediving floats, lines and free swimming techniques.

This session is ideal for strengthening your connection with water, helping you feel more free and at ease moving underwater, whether for snorkelling, freediving, underwater photography, or underwater acting performance / mermaiding. Your objectives may include diagnosing equalisation issues, refining body position, performing breath-hold drills and optimise your weighting and more! The pool and shore dives provide easy access to shallow water breathhold diving under close instruction and swift repetition that develops skills in a programmatic way.

Open to all levels of students interested in refining their technique, maximum depth range for the shore-dive is 2-10m, depending on location and prevailing conditions.

Certified freedivers will really benefit from this focused session either on your own or in your small group. It is ideal for freedivers who have successfully completed at least a PADI Basic Freediver course or experienced freedivers wishing to develop their skills and technique (eg Apnea Academy Discovery, AIDA 1*, SSI Basic Freediving).

The freediving training dive excursions from shore are focused on developing your base comfort, inner calm, equalisation skills, correct diving form and adaptation to pressure. Dive with a professional instructor to shape your individual development. Joining one of these dives can contribute to achieving your PADI Freediver level one certification.

The session caters to freedivers from all recognised agencies (PADI Freediver, Apnea Academy, SSI etc) with each dive targeting optimal freediver development at an in-shore location with maximum 10m depth.

Snorkellers, underwater photographers and performers will find new comfort and understanding for improved equalisation, body profile and positioning, fit and use of snorkelling gear, plus practical skills including duck dive, finning technique and sculling.

Surfers will learn how to develop calm and relaxed approaches to the stress of wave hold downs, plus perform breathing techniques for wave surfing and recovery from hold-downs.

During the sessions participants are constantly monitored for safety by a dedicated instructor who will, in turn, also be able to give valuable tips and feedback for your optimum progress.
