Thermal Sanctuary - Breathe Easy

Contrast Therapy | Peninsula Hot Springs Restorative Immersion

The ultimate luxury personalised wellness reset. Enjoy private guided breathwork with thermal mineral pools bathing and cold plunge integration. Utilising contrast therapy to amplify the body's natural relaxation response, leaving you in a state of euphoric, long-lasting biological calm that rest alone may not achieve.

The Thermal Sanctuary is a tailored breathwork and nervous system regulation coaching session for individuals managing high stress and the demands of high performance. The session is provided at the Peninsula Hot Springs and includes contrast therapy techniques utilising the thermal bathing and cold plunge pools for improved acceptance of state and adaptation for stress resilience.

If you're feeling ready to breathe easier, relax and better regulate your nervous system in a way that connects with the elements in the outdoors, this hot springs session is ideal for you. Through 90-minutes you'll enjoy a tailored somatic breathwork and guided relaxation experience whilst immersing in the luxury of the Peninsula Hot Springs.

The session begins with a gentle pause, seated in a secluded natural area of the resort or under the canopy of a relaxation dome. During this time we will become aware of and observe the breath, to understand the identify your personal breathing mechanics. Introducing specific breathwork exercises in stillness and away from distractions we will begin to explore the pathway to identify blockages and begin to open up new avenues to calm and relaxation.

Adopting the breathing techniques, we will then begin to immerse, choosing a suitable thermal pool to begin, allowing the breath to find its natural rhythm in the warmth and comfort of the mineral bath. By doing so we begin to support a transformation of the mind and body's awareness to the environment, connected with structured and natural breathing patterns. Immersed in the warmth, it is the beginning of relaxing deeper into stillness and personal presence.

The immersion into the elements outdoors is a tailored session, designed around your comfort and energy levels on the day.

In order to extend the understanding of presence and ability to regulate between states of comfort and discomfort, we will utilise the benefits of the cold plunge pools. Applying a controlled and structured approach to the cold immersion, accompanied with mindfulness and awareness techniques, you will use your breath to explore new states of acceptance and self-regulation. Without force and only by choice, you will work within your own comfort levels to choose your own level of immersion, with full supported guidance at each step of the way. The immersion process is a cyclical development designed for you to embrace the sensations of change and state of acceptance, moving between the thermal springs and cold plunge pools in a natural rhythm that affords comfort in the discomfort.

The session guides you into the presence of mindfulness, with a new ease into perceptions of discomfort and using methods to turn towards comfort instead, as a choice, not a leap of faith. With an emphasis of aligning mind and body through self awareness, the training approach gives you the freedom to express your own individualism in both progress and stillness. It is designed to share tools and tactics to immerse in a controlled environment, with space and time to explore new comfort zones organically.

Your experienced instructor will help you open your mindset and enhance your wellbeing. Each session will be tailored to your personal objectives and focus on promoting healthy and safe connection with the elements outdoors.
